We are running a series of 'taster mornings' those who would like to buy their own fish directly from the market and learn how to prepare it in our kitchens.
Arrive at the market between 6.30 and 7.00am so that you can buy your own fish to prepare in the class later. You will need cash for purchase your fish as few merchants take credit cards.
You can buy breakfast in one of the two cafes on the market before joining the team at 9.00 to prepare the fish that you have purchased.
We recommend that you choose one of the following species of fish: sea bass/ sea bream, squid/ cuttlefish, scallops, mackerel, plaice, lemon sole or Dover sole. There are several merchants who will sell small quantities.
You will have time during the session to prepare 2 of the same species of fish.

Join one of the trainers in the kitchen for a quick coffee and chat about the species of seafood that you have purchased. You will spend time learning the techniques required to prepare your chosen fish. Recipe ideas will be discussed
Anyone that wants to learn something new. This makes a great group booking for a birthday or celebration.
The fish that you have prepared, new skills and some recipe ideas.
You can store extra fish in our chiller during the class.
