We have been inundated with requests to deliver more wine and seafood tastings at the school.

We have teamed up with Cindy-Marie Harvey - (Love Wine Food Ltd) who is a passionate foodie and has years of wine and food globe trotting under her belt - seeking out the very best wines.

Cindy-Marie began a love of wine at an early age, being allowed a small taste of Burgundy at a family lunch, the delights of Pinot Noir lured her into the world of wine. Moving to Piemonte in North West Italy for a year, led to the discovery of Barolo & Barbaresco, which combined with some of the greatest of Italian foods produced in that region, and meant she stayed instead for five years! Her love of wine, combined with a passion for abbinamento, what Italians call wine & food pairing - could do no other than mean a career in the wine trade. A spell at a UK wine importer, was followed by 20 years of planning, organising and escorting wine & food tours around the globe. Speaking Italian, French, Spanish (and happy to be inventive in Portuguese!) meant really getting to know some of the most fascinating wine makers in the world from the classic wine regions of France, Spain, Italy through to less well known but equally fascinating countries such as Slovenia . The New World also included in her globe- trotting tasting around the vineyards of Chile, Argentina & Uruguay – visiting these these South American countries over 20 times, it has been fascinating watching them develop their vineyards & wines.  

Our CEO  - CJ Jackson - joined Cindy-Marie for two tours of the Valpolicella region of Italy and tasting all (food and wine) that the Veneto had to offer and combining teaching a group of Brits all about North Italian food and enjoying some wonderful wines - very memorable.. Cindy Marie is equally memorable and will host a wonderfully informal evening with our chefs creating some fabulous dishes for you to taste.

The evening will be informal and you will enjoy a glass of our house wine with some Smoked Salmon on Rye on arrival.
The chef team will then create a number of dishes - and after every couple of recipes - the tasting begins!

Spicy Plaice Goujons
Brandade (salt fish and garlic paste) with breadsticks
Baked Queen Scallops with Parsley Crumb
Grilled Mackerel with Chilli and Ginger Baste
Marinated Anchovies with Lemon and Thyme
Smoked Salmon and Avruga (smoked herring roe) on Blinis - on arrival

Cindy Marie has chosen some wonderful wines to match the recipes above. The tasting will take place between the cooking demonstrations.

FRIDAY EVENING-  6.30 - 9pm on 10th May
SATURDAY AFTERNOON - 4pm - 6.30pm - 22nd June
