Our Trustees

As a charity, the school operates as a company limited by guarantee and in accordance with the Company's articles and memorandum of association.

The board of Trustees of the training school consists of people with a seafood industry, charitable or business background. All trustees are at senior management level. Some trustees bring specific skills to the board such as experience in training, charitable activities and finances, which offers the Principal and school a wealth of expertise and support.

The Chairman of the board is Fred Stroyan who is on the Court of Fishmongers' Company. Fred is the founder of New England Seafood and is keen to see the industry activity of the school develop, but to reach as many young people as possible. He is also a very keen fisherman.
