The Billingsgate Seafood School is presenting another exciting evening of Seafood and Beer Discovery Evening in partnership with The East London Brewery.
Established in 2011, the East London Brewing Company is passionate about beer and about celebrating brewing as one of the many wonderfully diverse, creative and innovative traditions of East London. The beers we brew explore familiar British classics, such as our Foundation Best Bitter, incorporate twists on classic styles as seen in our Orchid Vanilla Mild and showcase newer styles, such as our Beyond the Tower session IPA. Our celebration of East London old and new continues in our collaboration with other East London organisations and we’ve been working with Billingsgate Seafood School for over three years, pairing beer with wonderful fish and creating beer-inspired fish recipes together.
Join us on the eve of VE day to celebrate using some ration recipes from WW2 and some modern day alternatives... all brilliantly matched to East London Brewing Company beers....

Arrive for tea and coffee at 6.15pm
After a brief introduction to the evening, roll up your sleeves to prepare sardines ready for the grill. We will demonstrate some fish preparation techniques.

Roll up your sleeves and have a go at some fish preparation then sit back and relax whilst you learn all about seafood and beer - taste amazing seafood dishes - some cooked in ELB beer, and learn all about the ELB beers on offer.
This is a 3 1/2 hour Course - Course Size 15-30 People - Course Times 18:30pm - 20:30pm

An insightful evening learning about combining seafood and beer and how they complement each other. We are pleased to be able to offer an informal evening where you will sample some of our seafood dishes and learn all about the ELB beers on offer.
